You might remember earlier posts showing this piece:
It was a piece that began at a session at Artfest over a year ago. Once home with it’s beginnings, I continued to allow it to evolve until it was a completed wearable one-of-a-kind art piece. So much love, and thought, and care goes into the making of these that they become such a cherished thing that I sometimes have a hard time parting with them. It’s like there is a part of me in them that I’m not quite ready to let go of. Eventually the time feels right, and I can offer them for sale, in the hopes that they find the person they were created for. This is a piece, that I felt deserved a place of it’s own. A home for it to have all to itself for when it journeys to its new owner. Seems silly perhaps, but for me, a one-of-a-kind piece really does deserve special treatment. And, so I built it a home and painted the front and back with images that related to the message of the pendant.
