It is without doubt festival season here on Vancouver Island. I knew there would be lots to do here in the summer, but really, I had no idea! There are just SO many things going on, it’s a bit overwhelming trying to decide where best to exhibit and even what to take in as a visitor. I did participate in the Cowichan Bay Artwalk this past weekend and so have been buried in my studio preparing for that for the past month.
It was a great weekend: views of the ocean from my booth (in fact I was on a deck right over the ocean),
fabulous sunny weather, visitors from all over the world; Germany, Holland, Japan, Florida, Seattle, Edmonton, and Wynton was there to give me a hand with it all.
The organizers even fed us a wonderful lunch both days. It was an exhausting and fabulous time.
Now off to deliver these hairsticks for showing at Duncan Days.
